Sing...Until Your Heart's Content
EVELYN (EV) YNGVESON
"I once was lost, but now I'm found" - Amazing Grace

Ev has been singing and performing for as long as she can remember. From opera to jazz, "dirty folk-rock", to cabaret, Ev loves a variety of music!

As a performer and composer, Ev strives to create something magical with her music. While struggling with bulimia, music became her solace. Throughout therapy, Ev remembers reuniting and returning to her "voice".    With every success, every step forward to health, music served as a grounding point from which to gain support and control.  Finally breaking free from the darkness of bulimia, Ev is thrilled to be sharing her story. She credits using her true uniqueness, creativity and expressiveness to heal the body and Spirit. Ev is deeply honored to be part of such a worthy cause as this spectacular event!

Most recently devoting the majority of her time to writing songs while accompanying herself on the guitar; ultimately, she dreams of putting out a full C.D. of original music and performing regularly around town and abroad!
Ev thanks all involved and wishes everyone billions of blessings, hope, inspiration and laughter always!

CAROLYN STEWART
"Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God, trust also in me." - John 14:1

Raised in Sudbury, Ontario in a family with 4 older brothers. Loved to sing when I was a kid but usually hid away in my room so my brothers wouldn't tease me.

Moved out to Montreal in 1987 to study languages at Concordia University. Found the passion in writing & singing again, mostly with church groups. In 1993, started busking in the metros. In 1994 moved to Vancouver, married the love of my life from Montreal, had 3 beautiful kids.  Music took a back seat while raising our energetic children and keeping busy with family life.

In 2005, my kids stopped blocking their ears and wanted me to sing more & louder.  Writing with passion and honesty, mostly about how life affects me, sometimes spiritual, sometimes just a reflection.  Trying to capture in words life's moments, good or bad and sharing how I see them with whoever is willing to listen.  I hope encourage you in some way.

MYSTIC HIGHWAY
ROBIN RICHARDSON
SARAH KELTON

Sarah and Robin first combined their musical visions in 2005. They began to
tour locally in Colorado, and found a  growing appreciation for their music.  Inspired to continue, Mystic Highway completed their first recording project with two-time Grammy-award-winning producer Tom Wasinger. Soon after, they had their television debut on Boulder Channel 1's "Jann Scott Live", followed by their first promotional tour of the United Kingdom.

Mystic Highway played packed performances across Holland, England, Ireland and Scotland. In County Clare, Ireland, the center of the Irish folk scene, the duo did their first live radio show. This tour was a successful musical adventure; welcoming audiences consistently met them with a deep interest in their songs. The experiences they had traveling and touring Europe were vast and varied, and further encouraged the duo to continue crafting fresh, inspired material.

Since returning from abroad, Mystic Highway has kept a busy performance schedule while continuing to expand their material. In July of 2007, the collaboration with Tom Wasinger and nationally recognized guitarist Lynn Patrick blossomed with the release of "Velvet Bridge." On this latest album are songs filled with impassioned melodies, uplifting lyrics, and finely crafted harmonies.

Sarah and Robin are thankful for the opportunities that have arisen thus far in 2007.

EDITH WALLACE
"There are mountains on our journeys.  No way round them, no way through.  We find the strength to climb our mountains.  Reach the top, and breath in the view." - Mountains by Edith Wallace

Edith Wallace is a wife and mother, singer songwriter and passionate Love Goddess... not necessarily in that order. She hates housework. She would rather be Bare Breasted in Bali, and has written a song extolling that sun tinged fantasy. Her audiences must be in complete agreement, as it is often requested and heartily sung along to.

As a way to avoid doing the laundry, Edith writes songs about living on this planet, taking baths in a tub on a rock face perched over the Pacific Ocean and pondering where God fits into it all. Given that the laundry pile is never ending, Edith is a prolific writer.

Edith does not dance with pythons. She is not 16. Thongs are things she wears on her feet. She has no leather bustiers. No belly button rings. If she uses the word baby in song, it concerns a small human and not her latest love interest. She knows that the fashion gurus are wrong: Birkenstocks do go with evening dresses!

Edith plays guitar. She also tinkles the black keys of her piano. She is not yet famous. Occasionally, however, fans stop her in Save-on-Foods... she appreciates their enthusiasm.

Along with her tuba (yes, that's right tuba), it was her brother's $59 guitar that led Edith to truly embrace her love affair with music. Younger brother Colin received the instrument as a birthday gift. At age 15, Edith taught herself to play, armed with an Easy Chord Beatles Songbook: Across The Universe will never be the same. Eventually, her parents gave her a guitar of her own. Every girl needs a pastime to see her through an Alberta winter!

Growing up in Scotland and England, she had never imagined living in Canada. Moving with her family to the prairies exposed her to a much bigger world. Literally. "My first experience of Canada's size was a car ride from Regina to Saskatoon," she recalls. "Here was a country of open spaces that matched my heart and soul."

Her family eventually settled in Alberta, where she completed high school. She survived that ordeal by writing songs, playing music and listening to her vice-principal... "Don't worry kid, there really is another world out there!"

1989 saw the birth of their daughter Lindsey. Edith continued to perform at events and festivals in North America and Europe. She recorded two albums. Her ability to write both humorous and heartfelt songs reflect her personal experiences as a young woman, wife and mother, hitting a soft spot in the hearts of her audiences close to home and around the world.

Edith has sung editorial songs on the CBC Evening News, CBC's In The Company of Women and practiced satirical cooking on Vancouver's CTV Morning Show. She was honoured to write and perform the theme song for the United Nations Year of the Family campaign in British Columbia.

In 1997, after completing, Standing Naked in the Rain, her first CD, she faced a singer's worst nightmare: She was losing her voice. Living with permanent hoarseness made performing extremely difficult. These were challenging times, but a three year journey led Edith to a greater understanding of herself, emotionally and spiritually.

Surgery in November 2000, gave her the freedom to sing clearly once again, coupled with new found joy and peace. Edith has reached a poised maturity in her current performances. She has bounced back with enthusiasm and good humour and she is focused and ready for the adventures yet to come.

Edith writes these days, to make sense of the private and intensely personal aspects of her life... once a song is perfected, she proceeds to share the sordid details with unsuspecting audiences around the world!!! Life is a grand adventure.
